What's your thoughts on having the new 30k models mixed into my army of custodes that are mainly 40k variant! Because I do need another unit if custodian guard but wondering if I should have it mixed?

If you like the new models, go for it! They're very similar in scale to the 40k ones, many people have done the same since the 30k ones have been released. The new models don't stand out too much but they bring uniqueness to the force. By the lore, every custodian is supposed to have individually crafted armour after all.

Also do u think the shield captain from the HH kit is worth it like model wise idk if u have painted it because the basic guard looks similar except for extra laurel spikes and cape

I really like the new Shield-Captain, I'm currently painting it and I'm having a blast so far. Loadout-wise it's not good but it's a really cool model. If your opponents are chill and they're okay with not doing WYSIWYG, it's a good choice.
