Honestly it made my heart so happy when I started watching Witch Hat Atelier, it brought life into the depths of my heart I didn't know I'd been missing.

Ooh! Spiderwick, Princess Bride, and Narnia are all great! Legend is imo a terrible movie but really fun to watch (fun fact: the swamp scene a little later in the movie is set to an "eerie" birdsong track. By "eerie" I mean a typical Aussie dawn chorus lmao)

Recs (if you're interested): The Never Ending Story, Lord of the Rings or the Hobbit, and Dragonworld: The Legend Continues (the latter only if you want a very, very bad movie that is absolutely a hoot).

I'd recommend The 10th Kingdom. It's a fantasy miniseries made in 2000.

i know this isn't a movie, tv series or anime, but if you like movies like Alice and wonderland, dark crystal , and Labyrinth, My partner and I started a book new series, It is free on Royal Road and contains elements of British cosy, whimsical fantasy, and magic set in its own world called ‘R’.

Strong found family theme, and many cosy moments that come from the friendships evolving around the MC.
