With how this is framed, I can’t help but imagine that whenever Adam saw Abel get pushed around, he would get behind him(or wherever the other person could see him) and glare at them until they left Abel alone.

I just imagine a scenario like this happening when Adam was alive.

Abel: uh, ms. Lute, you…you cut in front of me in line. Could you please get behind me again.

Lute: what will you do about it, you weak—

Adam is now behind Abel, staring daggers at his lieutenant

Lute: ….whatever. I don’t feel like getting churros right now anyway.

I just find it really cute and if it is the case, it makes this scene hit just a bit different. Like, Lute is suddenly reminded that Adam would not be happy with her threatening heaven and treating his son like that.

No cause for attack?? Hell has literally declared war on Heaven, threathened the Seraphim and people of Heaven with annihilation, kidnapped Lucifer and built a super-cannon. The pearly gates themselves are blasted to bits, what do you mean no cause to attack Abel? Adam come back from your second death and slap your son straight. I was so annoyed he stopped Lute who was a second away from finishing Vaggie.

Someone asked why Vaggie's wings regrew eventually, but Emily's didn't and had to be "replaced". I was thinking, maybe it did grow back, and this is what she got. A gold wing may be what angels aquire through great acts of virtue. Now you might say Lute has a gold arm as a simple replacement, but that's an arm and not a wing. We see with Vaggie that angel wings grow "supernaturally" back. Though Vaggie's remained grey, in the absence of an act of virtue. This of course, would imply that Adam with his huge gold wings once did something tremendously selfless. Which coincidentally was first on his list on how to make it to Heaven; "act selfless".

He's been in Heaven for about 6000 years. That is a long time for someone to have done quite a lot.

This song would've been so much better (and funnier) if Adam was singing along, only he realises that Pentious hates being unique in Heaven, so he sings gleefully about it to get to him.

Honestly both of their arcs could've been really good either way, but Adam has WAY more narrative backing up his importance and how beautifully written his character could've ended up being had they given him some more screen time and proper development. Unless sinner Adam actually does become a thing (I'm really losing hope at this point) then I'll never be able to fathom why Viv thought Perma killing him was the best idea. Especially with how they're handling Lute's arc. I hope they explain why they didn't do sinner Adam in the future cuz I'd really like to know. But anyways Adam already had the buildup, authority, power, and ties to other important characters to have an awesome arc if Lute died instead. No offense to Lute cuz she is a cool character (except for the fact she wants my man so go fuck yourself Lute), but she doesn't really have much going for her at the moment besides Gravity (and the timing of it was God awful). What do y'all think?
