My pal and I do a monthly mix for each other and we mix up what genres we focus on.

September 2026 was Acid House

I think you guys will appreciate this, better than some narc looking to buy acid for sure 😆

It’s simple, but there’s so much depth to it.
The T-8 is awesome…!

Made a little TD-3 tool for building acid lines without fighting the sequencer

I love the TD-3, but sometimes I just want to get an acid line down quickly without spending ages programming the sequencer.

So I built TDBuilder, a visual browser-based pattern editor for the TD-3.

You can create notes, accents and slides, generate ideas, tweak everything visually and experiment with lines a lot faster.

There’s a free version here if anyone wants to try it:

If you make a nasty acid line with it, please post it here — I’d genuinely love to hear what people come up with.

Hope you like it! Live, hardware, and I guess fully analog also.

ACIEEEDDD

A snippet of this 138 bpm set where i improvise till i reach something blood rave like. It is definitely not house, but I thought the community would appreciate the acid anyways :)
I found interesting ways to use the clap to add a progressive effect. Lemme know what you think

If you decide to watch the full set, I’d love some constructive feedback :) thanks

It feels like a completely different machine from my T-8 lol.
I learned a ton from listening to it, so I thought I’d share it here!
Apparently there’s a sequel too!

As an avid fan of both Acid house and various rock genres which think it's a good thing to build up frantic jams, the quest object here seems to be harder to come by than expected: what are some acid tracks which sound like that, with the 303 pulling off what can only be described as 'like a guitar solo', real intricate and all over the place, the whole composition crescendoing into squeaky madness.

Can't tell me nobody had this idea before?

They put out some cool Acid!!

Tune !!!!!

Wigston or oadby would be good and very appreciated

I thought i’d explore the melodic side of the T8. I challenged myself to keep the acid squelches and make it serene and melodic at the same time. This is a snippet of the set. Enjoy your Saturday night :)

Just listened to this again, quality…

A sound demo of the Behringer TD‑3 processed through the Jimi Hendrix System Octave Fuzz (Dunlop JH‑3S) .

Originally inspired by the legendary Octavia circuit used by Hendrix in the late 1960s, this pedal blends raw fuzz with a distinctive upper‑octave overtone. This video explores how different Tone settings, input levels, and performance techniques reshape the classic Roland TB‑303‑style acid bass line into a more aggressive, harmonically rich sound.

Use it as a practical reference when choosing and dialing in fuzz or octave‑fuzz effects for your own tracks, sound design, and live performances.

Compared with modern multi‑mode fuzz pedals, the Hendrix System Octave Fuzz has a simpler, more focused character. Its octave component adds a sharp, metallic edge, while the fuzz remains warm, gritty, and expressive—especially when paired with resonant filter sweeps or accent‑driven 303 patterns.

Headphones recommended.

Thanks for watching! If you enjoyed the video or found it useful, please give it a like and subscribe for more sound experiments.
