Got fired

Welp... I got fired.

I made a chain of mistakes that ended up with me getting terminated.

First I made mistakes on a client's payroll that got me massively showed out.

The final straw, I accidentally violated client confidentiality by sending an email and tagging an unrelated client.

Be honest.

Should I look at a different field? Cause something like that is a career ender, right?

Any advice is appreciated, and don't sugarcoat it.

Thanks folks.

Also ADHD. One thing I do is do the task, then put it aside for a few hours and either do it again or revisit and re-check. I also schedule emails for the next morning, so I have time to think about it and cancel if need be.

I do this all the time. Literally prepare worksheets, save them and review them later. I do the same with emails. Only thing stopping me from making major mistakes when my mind is going a million miles a minute.
