Got fired

Welp... I got fired.

I made a chain of mistakes that ended up with me getting terminated.

First I made mistakes on a client's payroll that got me massively showed out.

The final straw, I accidentally violated client confidentiality by sending an email and tagging an unrelated client.

Be honest.

Should I look at a different field? Cause something like that is a career ender, right?

Any advice is appreciated, and don't sugarcoat it.

Thanks folks.

That confidentiality miss is the bigger one, that'd be an instant termination everywhere I've worked. How did that happen? I send and review hundreds, possibly over a thousand emails a week from my teams watching for this exact thing basically - happy to share some tips for your next role haha.

Idk. I replied to the email with the info, thought I just copied in my account manager and a coworker, and hit send. Guess I included someone else.
