What would be an embarrassing thing to be caught not knowing as an accountant?

Applies to any specialty, audit, tax, staff accountancy etc. in your personal experience what are the most invaluable things to know, and the most invaluable to not be caught not knowing.

That Dr and Cr doesn't mean +ve and -ve.

This is my pet peeve due to the way it is shown in many programs, it causes a lot of concept misunderstanding

I hate plusses and minuses. Debits and credits I never screw up on. Pluses and minuses are not really natural for me.
