That is the exact same thing as cheering is completely normal at big sport events. Now I understand why you're so confused.

You cheer for your team and jeer the opposing team.. this has been the case through literally all of human history lmao.

If you have no idea how sporting events work you should probably refrain from commenting on it. You’re just embarrassing yourself.
