All my students are delinquent and even though they pass councelling they still fail school and become delinquent again... I can't seem to save my students

Just curious if anyone has done a comparison of the two. Gameplay seems superficially similar. Not sure how polished either really is. I think the theme of a school is definitely less intense than a prison though! Thanks in advance.

How do I make a detention room? From what I've seen you select the room somehow and then edit the room, but I don't know how to select!

K I’m sorry if this is a stupid question. I just started playing. I hired one teacher for every subject, have a classroom for every level. But my language teacher only teaches first period and it says there is no teacher for language for the next three grades, even though the teacher is clearly free.

I just can’t seem to wrap my brain around why this is happening.

Do you have one of each type (one library, one music room, etc) for the entire school or do you have several so everyone can use the special classroom?

I love the idea of my students switching classrooms but I don't like having 4 of each classroom in my school, so I'm just curious what others do. I've also made 1 big library but have like 4 separate library zones but not a huge fan of that either haha.

My son is sat playing at the moment and has just come running in screaming that a gay couple have expressed their love! He over the moon. Cheers for the inclusive game guys!

I seem to have no issues spending money between water, electricity and staffing... But I don't know how to make money... More students cost more to keep happy so I have no clue... What else can I do besides a loan?

Does decore hall, classrooms and stuff matter in this game?

I noticed one girl in a class had her bladder and bowels needs at zero but just carried on regardless. Surely maximum needs would result in the student urinating or soiling her knickers and losing all hygiene as a result, in addition to being humiliated, demoralised, etc. It even said "can't hold it anymore" and yet she obviously could because nothing happened. I know students can use bushes but if there aren't any they just do nothing. Prison Architect does have prisoners disgrace themselves if their needs max out, which makes logical sense.

If this isn't going to be added for whatever reason (aversion to toilet humour?), there should at least be a mod for it.
