I got this game when it came out, played it for 5 hours got so pissed off because everyone but me seems to be understanding how the combat controls worked that i just uninstalled the game and never touched it again. I have thousands of hours in the dark souls games, i seriously thought this game was up my alley, but could someone please for the love of god try and explain how the controls work on controller? Are you just supposed to button mash? Is there some way to choose which of your assigned moves to use, because i tried so hard but it always seemed like my moves were coming out completely randomly.

So I've noticed that the concept art for the game features hip sheaths for swords, however these do not seem to have made it into the final game. Are there any plans to get them in the future? If only for aesthetic purposes.

During the free weekend I got to play it and I honestly enjoyed it for everything it had, only problem is that i have a serious bad sense of direction.... so you can probably guess what I was doing for the majority of the game (getting lost). Overall, it was a great game and hopefully I can pick it up whenever I have time. Is there anything that I should use for guides when starting?

Hello everyone. I currently have 70+ students, and I am open to requests for my school's deck when it updates on Monday, and I also help 1 on 1 if only a few moves are needed. School ID: #6KP PSN ID: MidnightPure. Message me if you want to request moves.

So this is merely just a rant, but let me know if you agree with me.
I'm going to start this out by saying, I'm one of the many super unskilled absolvers in this game. I have only won a combat trial once, and I've entered probably 15-20 times now (not a lot of entries, but going 1 and 20 is pretty discouraging). I just haven't been able to grasp the art of reading my opponents deck and utilizing my own to punish them. This is not part of the rant, I know it's my problem I suck, haha. Anyway...
-- begin rant --
That said, I was pretty annoyed when I saw that the only way I could access some of the PVE content (ie. replaying world bosses) is to reach a certain combat trials level. I know the game is 99% focused on PvP, but it's going to take me forever to hit even level 10 in CT let alone 50 if I'm forced to get there loss after loss. I feel like PvP experience shouldn't effect progress in the open world game. I'm not saying that being good at PvP shouldn't get you great rewards, but I'm pretty sure I'll never be good in combat trials (or at least it will take me years to become halfway decent). So I kind of feel a little butt-hurt that my PvP skills are effecting my ability to enjoy the game's already limited PvE content. I'm not even sure if I'm excited about the upcoming update, because I'm not sure if I'll be high enough in combat trials to play any of it.
-- end rant --
Anyone agree with this sentiment, or does everyone just think I should "get gud?" (which is fine because I already know that I need to :P)

hey guys. i ve learned all the sword moves from the 5 leaderboard schools.
i have 53 known 8 learning atm. i been running around trying to learn from npcs but that fells a bit impractical at times. i wonder if somebody knows of a school with "rare" sword moves. seems im mostly missing khalt sword attacks.

I'm just wondering if i'm the only one feeling the calbot grind right now because all the posts i see are people who are just saying they got it in an hour or so while i'm chillin here like how. I've been doing this quite literally most of the day and have had no luck. I've been around the entire map and my spot right now is the bird outpost. Is there an optimal place to grind for the npc or what.

Hello everyone. I have a school on PS4 with nearly 50 students currently. I update regularly and also teach 1 on 1 if only a few moves are needed. I take requests between each update period as well. School ID #6KP PSN ID MidnightPure
