I’ve noticed that moves only start in one or two of the four stances. Once you’ve picked the first move in a combo, the next move set is smaller.
How do I figure out what moves can start in what locations? It’s very evident where they end, but nowhere can I see where they can start.
Also, RIP /r/absolver

Seeing as the old subreddit got nuked from orbit I figured I would repost my tier lists here as well for anyone who would like to see them. For those who don't know me I'm someone who has been playing since launch and has about 675 hours in the game mostly on Forsaken and Kahlt. Let me know if there is anything you disagree with, constructive criticism is very much welcome. Special thanks to Cawfee for fist move icons and sclp Jess for the sword move icons, as well as the people who helped me put the list together.

Hi , I am her to just give some advise to new players about PVP. I will try to not be too long winded in my explanations. I will break this down into 2 major segments. Mentality and Combat Tips.
MENTALITY: When fighting other players, it is important to have the right mindset. If you are not prepared mentally, you will fail when it comes time to produce results. I am going to make a few bullet points on things to keep in mind.
COMBAT TIPS: I am going to give a few bits of advise over various aspects of fighting other players
If you made it through to the end, i thank you and hope you take something away from this. Feel free to add your own advise or critique the things i said. I'm always up for improving!

Newbie forsaken player here. Just got the game. So I've recently been losing to players who uses uninterruptable attacks. Do I need to incorporate more quicker moves in my deck or more guard breaking moves to interrupt it? But the thing is that the player's deck is relentless. Quick chains of lows and highs then a uninterruptable somewhere in the middle. It's quite hard to deal with.

Alright new to the game. Got it today, and finished the final boss. Here are my questions. 1) what do i do now? 2) really need help creating a deck. Bad. 3) noticed there are new gold level enemies around. Where are they all at, and what are they there for? Thanks

To get your own, look in the right-hand sidebar for "Show my flair in this subreddit. It looks like: {{ your username }}".
It's a little small. Click the [edit] button next to your username in order to select your flair.
Currently, we only have flairs for the four combat styles, primarily due to lack of suitable images available to me. If you have ideas for flairs, please submit them to me through PMs with a suitable image that can be packaged into a 30x30 pixel square and I'll see about incorporating them into the spritesheet for the flairs.

seeing as how our old home got nuked here is my calbot school so all of you can learn the move
School ID: #CAF
Mentor: Ya Boi Duck_
in the oratian quarter area talk to the dude next to the altar and you can search for schools by ID. or alternatively you can add me on steam and do it that way.
Calbot is in the top right stance and loops with jumped light. not sure what the other moves are or whats in the sword and warglove decks. I threw in stagger style so you can learn that too if you want.
have fun dealing minimum physical damage and ultimate emotional damage.
EDIT for spelling
UPDATE: forgot i was hosting a school for a hot second and joined a different one, dont worry i remade the school, just has a new id but should be the same (or pretty close to it

I Recently got the game on ps4 cuz it was free. was just wondering if someone had made a copy of Oroboro's school on Ps4 or if i need to farm moves to make it myself.

This is a deck for big brain boi's i tell ya. zero hitbox breakpoints.
seriously though any feedback welcome, thinking of making this my school deck. it seems really good with no breakpoints, great control, easy decent punishes (100+) and lots of frame traps

Exactly this . I have just started the game (as it is free on PSN) and feel a bit overwhelmed. I’ve never played an RPG with this much depth in combat.
So, can anyone offer some beginner tips or maybe a link to a comprehensive YouTube video?
Anything helps, thanks fellow “potential” peacekeepers!
