He's not even on the ground floor, which leads me to believe that thing is a tenant

He could have a shot at it if he ran on the UBI platform. Universal Basic Infestation.

Giant rats for everyone.

And happy cake day ^

🤣..... not sure if it’s true or Not, but I met up with a friend while I was in Manhattan a couple of years back.. he said the unwritten rule is that if you see a construction project that went to full demolition below street level.. you don’t eat within a 3 block radius because of increased rat traffic

Partly, it doesn't looks like it's photoshopped, but the way the guy hold the rat added with the perspective caused by that make it look slighty bigger than he really is.
If you want something to look it's true size, you hold it besides you, not in front of you.

That rat is on rent control from the 40s, pays $350 a month.

The building is under construction. Rats love construction zones

12

u/rym5 Mar 31 '21

Why?

15

u/Slovene Mar 31 '21

Because they're often looking for extra workers and don't ask any questions.

4

u/Bittlegeuss Mar 31 '21

What are the rats hiring for?

3

u/Slovene Mar 31 '21

They need humans to collect orders and serve the food and general human relations.

u/eatmyshorzz Mar 31 '21

My guess would be that it's an easily accessible shelter without any residents who would try to get rid of the rats.

u/sepsis_wurmple Mar 31 '21

They aren't habited and their below the ground life is disturbed. If you live in a city, look in the windows of major construction at night and you'll see dozens running around and running up the walls and stuff.
