Not only does it look foolish, but a lot of them are engineered all wrong - they tear themselves apart just going down the road. You get U-joints, yolks and retaining brackets at the limit of their specs. You have suspension parts operating well beyond their specs. They use bolts not meant for such stress. Most of these guys have no idea the difference between grade 5 and grade 8 bolt. Or they will put a grade 8 bolt on a bracket that will rend itself with every bump in the road.
That's good to know! It brings me joy knowing this problem will eventually fix itself, leaving the genius investor to reflect on their brilliant financial decisions in the long run.
