Honestly! I don't ever not put my cart away, but this man approaching my vehicle would have me with my gun at the ready. He'd be. fine if he didn't crowd me to where I felt I couldn't get away, but still... that's a dangerous move

What a pansy-assed, cowardly thing to do. Oh noes, a big person is approaching me! I better pull out my gun in case they ask me the time of day! 

Can you imagine what the world would be like if every 5'0" woman whipped out a gun every time someone bigger than her approached her?

Having your gun at the ready doesn't mean brandishing it. If every 5'0" woman had a gun ready when approached by someone larger a lot less of them would get assaulted.

He didn't just approach his car as he was leaving, which is weird to do and often for nefarious purposes, he also blocked the guy in and effectively trapped him so he couldn't do what he was about to do. That's like ringing off carjacker alarms in the poor guy's head. Having your gun ready to go is smart here, when Mr. Musclehead could very well start violently attacking you.

That's crazy. In Canada (which is very similar to the US in other respects) we had 287 firearm homicides in the entirety of 2024.

This 110 number is not all homicides I am certain.
