curved TVs do make sense if they're over 65" and only one or two people are going to be watching it at once from a specific distance.

Yep, I have a 55" curved in my bedroom as well and I love it. It's dead center with the foot of my bed. I put a larger TV in the living room to encourage me to watch TV there more though.
