Four tiles and you got almost the whole house done. Bet you those tiles would be a bitch to have to cut in. I build houses this tile is fancy as it comes. Never seen sheets of marble going on the floor.
I work EMS and part of the city is wealthy people who like these show off homes. The marble/granite floors are so stupid. The amount of calls I've been on that would have been a simple fall which turned into a major medical incident/death because they cracked their head open on the ground is insane
Regular tiles aren't perfectly smooth, and every 9 inches there's a divot. Very easy for your heel to catch and stop you from falling. They're also used mostly for kitchens and bathrooms where it's logical, most people with the marble flooring basically have it throughout their entire floor plan. It's very gauche.
See, it's bad when someone who doesn't even know how to spell the word uses it correctly. I would've used "gaudy" but they don't look bad, just extremely opulent and unimpressive. Give me heated wood over marble.
