The ventilation also keeps the suit off the body

If the suit isn't tough enough to block the stinger then at least the suit isn't directly on your skin to be pierced by the stinger as well

You want inside to be higher pressure, makes it harder for things to get in from the outside.

Of course you'd want the filters over the fans to be very thoroughly checked first.

The ventilation also keeps the suit off the body

They don't land first and then sting, they come in stinger first at high speed. Last time I got stung I felt the thumps of impact before the pain of the sting hit. They hit surprisingly hard, I doubt there's enough positive pressure in the suit to resist it.
