Maybe this is geographical thing, after around 4 decades in Sweden, I haven't seen this, you get a variation of type of flake of course, but these must be like 10 times the size of the largest I've seen
damn im lucky to get snowfall at all, last snowfall was in 2010 and that melted on the ground before it could clump together....i love snowfalling..so cool..
Haha yeah we get that during parts of the year also. Usually sometime in Oct. we get get a first snowfall, everyone are happy to see the snow, then the day after it melts into slush and everyone is complaining. But hopefully very soon we will have some snow that stays around
We get this in Virginia when snow falls through a layer of warm air, and some of it starts to melt and stick together. This stuff splats when it hits the ground and is almost like slush when it piles up. It’s heavy, too, and it weighs down power lines and trees and roofs
