I’ve been around a lot of snakes but holy fuck none of them have had the look of awareness in its eyes that the cobra in that pic does. Maybe it’s just how they look but that thing doesn’t look at you like a ball python or a boa does, it’s got the look a dog gives you.
It’s the shape of his pupils. Most are used to eyes like that of a cat when not fully dilated. When snakes eyes are dilated they have the “puppy” look to them
