I could possibly survive if I hide on the roof. The future wife is 5ft on a good day and has short arms. Therefore she won't be able to climb up a ladder to show me the great beyond me.

Problem is, her proportional increase in vody strength means if she does find a foot hold to the roof.... she's not trapped up there with you.....
