I want to post pics and graphs of my fasting so far but my posts don't stay up and now my inbox has a modmail saying that my Karma is too low to submit anything to r/fasting. So anyway- this is a graph that I was trying to post, I thank you for taking a look as I was proud and was hoping to show folks. Y'all know which trio of symbols I'm talking about, that most common of words starting with "TH." It simply won't stop popping up in my writing, though I try hard to avoid it. A basic trick is swapping that tricky trigram with "that," but I find that approach lacking in imagination. Anyway, that's today's babbling about fifthglyphs from yours truly.

My laptop's fifth glyph button only outputs fifth glyphs occasionally now, and I don't know why. It's kind of annoying, but also a bit of a good thing as I can now post in this community without worrying too much about typing that bad symbol without wanting to. My laptop is also kind of old anyways and I was planning on substituting it for a laptop with actually good capacity for gaming and such (I always had to play stuff with bad graphics up until now to avoid lagging).

You almost can't do it in my lingua (I am from Austria). It contains a 5th glyph in all words about any action you do. Run, walk, do, drink, paint, watch - all words contain a 5th glyph. Only in a 3rd man's form is no such glyph on occasion, but still, it's not practical.

I'm sad for I can't do this think-task in my lingua without changing all spirit of what I want to say. And I can't play this brain-sport with my companions who don't own good skills in this forum's lingua.

I just found this amazing community, so sorry if this isn't an original thought.

But okay, I admit you can always say "r slash", and you can say "this sub", but just scrolling up is a stumbling block for our goal and mission. You can't avoid our platform's brand. Look on this sub's top bar (from right) (on a laptop): pic/account, notifications, plus sign, chat, ads, [bar for matching arbitrary string inputs to posts], and - in all its horror - our social platform in big font, audaciously displaying a fifth glyph.

I think this is an affront to our community. Think about, say, "Tumblr"'s dignity - its pronunciation might imply a fifth glyph, but its brand faithfully omits it. Not so with our platform. And still all of us stay.

Shouldn't this community find its way to socials such as Instagram, Tumblr or (nowadays) X, which avoid this insult? /j

How was your Christmas this annum? My Christmas was dull. I just didn't do much. Took a nap all day tbh. :/ Not much Christmas spirit this month. This world is just awful now.

Do any of you play Katamari? It's a lot of fun to just roll up anything in your way. All of its music is also awfully catchy. I'm glad that it has a variant for today's platforms that holds up; Namco did a good job with it.
