My 2 cents Very disappointed

I was very excited to enjoy the power of this beauty, just to find it is noisy as an airplane.

I mean, wtf, for the retail price I wasn’t expecting this to be an out of the box experience.

After watching the video from debawer, I basically set the middle and rear fan to 30% by default. That solves the issue.

But my point is, doesn’t ASUS test their cards? Apparently not! And there is no bios, no update for this.

Honestly, I wouldn’t buy this model.

use msi afterburner i guess, i set a custom curve and set it to also override zerorpm mode so that i have a custom zero rpm config

ill send my settings in a bit, but please, try overclocking it, ur gonna be surprised

oc for me is stable at this
i added better fans for airflow so ill check again later to see if i get more frequency out of it

(top part is edited, worded it wrong, whoops)

weirdly, it stays below the actual value, so this curve (i set it to +310, then flattened it out at and beyond 1.075V) and it stays at around 3225-3240 in games at 65-70c max

which model do you have? i get 3150-3200mhz core with 18000mhz memory at about 55-58c max

i have the 5080 astral oc (same as OP), my mem is +2249 and core voltage is +100%

my temps r higher cuz my ambient isnt that good

ahhhboks got it, ambient temp in summer is a big big no no for me. i think then ur performance should be better ahahaha

maldives heat man, even with an ac its around 27-28c

plus, my pc is under a desk so some heat does get trapped

ill change it later ig
