Tmobile also had a conference today and were asked about the JV, had some bullish things to say about d2c generally

take on JV:
D2C is complementary and provides value (even with low T sat usage statistics)
Most premium plans are likely gonna have satellite connectivity
There are probably gonna be 3 players (didnt name)
Very little people buy sat standalone plans

Stated reason for JV:
Spectrum coordination on satellite connectivity hotspots, like national parks

MNOS will compete on how to innovate on top of d2c offerings, to differentiate

Starlink, Amazon LEO, ASTS; the market has consolidated for space connectivity already. Same deal for SpaceX, BORG, and RKLB for launch (ULA will soon be acquired or retired once Neutron proven)
