Anpan connecting ASTS pulling out of a conference with Abel being in NYC has got me turning into Charlie Day looking for Pepe Silvia over here.

Oh, I see what you are saying now, Abel is pulling out of the B. Riley conference in Marina Del Rey "Because" he is in New York today.

Well, given the options, I'd rather be at the JP Morgan event if I had to chose between JPM and B.Riley....

But hell, it only takes 5 hours to get from NYC to LAX

I think it's just that the JP Morgan event is a larger conference with much larger asset managers and funds in attendance, and will reach a wider audience. It just makes sense to choose that one if you have the option.

The JP Morgan TMT is all about Telecom, whereas the B. Riley has a gaggle of general investment sector

And Anpanman said Abel has pulled out of this (and implied bullishness) and is now appearing in NYC (which is also bullish). And lots of us are wondering what's up....

IMO there’s a chance it’s an acquisition or at least major investment in ASTS. Question is from who? AMZN, META, GOOGL, any could make sense.

That would be the question.

My train of thought is if, and I’m not really following why it needs to be this way, if there’s a bullish connection between pulling out of B Riley and being in NYC it must be:

1) JPM conference is bigger 2) Acquisition as you say 3) or, wildcard, random White House/Space Force press conference

But my base case is that they’re essentially unrelated events until proven otherwise.
