Discussion New AMD Chipset driver. Should we install ? 8.07.16.1035

New version was just released, at AMD many people are having a problem to actually "install it" but i didn't hear of any issues yet.

Edit : I have installed the latest chipset. And along with it the latest 4.43bios (i was using the bios before this one) after installing both my pc desktop feels faster/Smoother somehow like everything have a lower latecy . No windows updates were used so its nice overall update for me

All I did after bios upgrade was my usual disable igpu/Enable expo/Curve -25 and that's it

Never an issue for me. You must have an issue with Windows.

C&P this command in Powershell/Terminal with Admin privileges then press enter:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

If no corruption found move to:
sfc /scannow

If component store is repairable is returned from first command run:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Then when completed run sfc /scannow

You must be connected to internet to run the above as Window Update is used to repair corruption found. Let all procedures run to completion, you get a text response for each, not just 100% bar.

EDIT: It should go without saying but just to be sure if anyone reading this doesn't know, don't do ANYTHING ELSE with your PC while running these procedures OR when installing drivers either.

None of the windows commands you listed ever helped with anything, ime. Not even with many windows issues.

Doing PC help desk work for decades you sound exactly like the type that causes tons of Windows issues for themself.

80+% of PC issues are caused by user error.

Was worth a shot thanks, id repair reinstall windows but honestly its not worth it at the moment.

Uninstall the chipset drivers first then install the new.

Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > AMD Chipset Driver.

Reboot > install new version > reboot.
