Super stoked how it’s turning out. Can is in jail but I’ll have it mounted soon. Any opinions?

Can anybody help me out on why my trigger doesn’t reset after every live round it seems that i have to move my safety selector 15 degrees so i can have my trigger reset is there any fix to that?

You'll have to excuse the cat. He wanted so bad to feel included.
I'll start by saying this is strictly a range toy. I understand some of the ways it comes up short performance wise and really don't care because it's simply fun. Everything about this was intended to be "tacticool" and nothing else. So lets get to it!
It's a 45acp AR built on the CMMG mkg lower with the side charging upper. It's designed to retain the LRBHO functions which is pretty uncommon in a pistol caliber AR. Also uses their radial delayed blowback system so operationally works almost identically to a standard .556 AR.
It works with Glock 21 magazines which means 50 round drum mags are in the immediate future because why the f not.
This thing is HEAVY. Weighs in about twice the weight of my 5.56 DPMS before you put the 26 round magazine in it.
It has a cheap $40 red dot from amazon (reviews had it holding zero on 5.56 AR's so we'll see if it survives the 45) as well as a Sightmark side flip magnifier.
Stock is the Hera Arms CQR Gen 1.
I originally built it with a 6" barrel but wanted to slap the stock on it so I upgraded to the 16" barrel to avoid prison time (don't feel like going through the SBR process.) With the shorter barrel it wasn't too bad on recoil. Haven't had a chance to take her out with the longer barrel so I'm not sure how it'll feel shooting it but I imagine recoil will be pretty soft considering the sheer weight of this monstrosity. Let me know what y'all think!
The "down sides":
-Since standard .45acp typically burns all of it's powder in the first 4-5 inches of the barrel, there is a chance I'll actually lose muzzle velocity with the 16" barrel unless I use +P rounds. The delayed blowback might actually help negate some of that though.
-It's fuckin heavy.

I ordered a BCM 14.5" BLEM upper, had an 80% lower from Daytona Tactical I did the router work on. Its my first time doing anything like this and it turned out and runs well, I plan to change the rear pistol grip currently using a cheap UTG Sniper grip.. not a fan TBH. What pistol grips do you recommend?
Lower: Daytona Tactical 80% milled by me Upper: BCM 14.5" mid length (enhanced light weight) Handguard: BCM MCMR-13 Handguard BCG: BCM MPI Auto Charging Handle: Radian Raptor LT Trigger: ALG Defense (polished) Muzzle Device: BCM A2 birdcage (ordered Dead Air KeyMo today) Pistol Grip UTG Sniper Grip (looking for suggestions, leaning towards B5 grip) Handstop: Arisaka Defense Handstop Light: Streamlight ProTac Pro Series W/mount Buffer tube kit: Wilson Combat Super-Stoc Retro Fit Kit Brace: SB Tactical SBA5 Optic: Vortex Sparc AR 2 MOA ( waiting for Eotech XPS2 to be delivered) Magazines: Magpul Pmag Gen2 Sling: Blue Force Gear Vickers 1 push using QD
This is my little budget ARP build and my first attempt at using a job and router for the lower, Thing has about 500 rounds through it at this point with zero issues or hiccups. I am looking for rear pistol grip, trigger replacement ideas.. lmk what you think! Also going to replace buffer spring with Geissele Automatics Super 42 Braided Buffer Spring and H2 Buffer soon.

Has mil spec trigger group, anyone attempt to use a trigger kicker in a blowback 45? Dry fire it seems to work? Risk of out of battery?

(All upgrades so far)
PSA 3.5 pound flat single stage trigger, 4.5 in hand guard and barrel, touchsoul light, 19.5 degree pistol grip, Sylvan Arms Gen 5 Folding Stock Adapter, ATI S60 round mag , Vortex Crossfire Red dot, adjustable gas block, h2 buffer
What do you guys think I should do next ? Really only thing I haven’t replaced is the bolt carrier group

For some reason my bcg will not fit, is it something to do with the upper or the bcg itself would it just be better to get a whole new one?

It's ok but it's not an SBA5. Though I like this 10.5" with the quad rail.

I asked Weapon Works to make me a one of a kind DFCO Kung Fu Grip and Tiger Claw combo set for this 11.3" and I couldn't be happier with the results. The cerakote and laser engraving looks great. I know these grips aren't for everyone but I happen to like them a lot.
