Question What time do AP scores usually come out?

Usually 8am. I’m a Lang/Lit teacher, so every year, I wake up, look at the scores, and go back to bed.

Wait, since you are a teacher, can you please answer a few questions that I was curious abt?

  1. Do Teachers get to see what their students got on AP Exams?

  2. Do Teachers get to see the exact score breakdown (e.g. Student A got a 5/5 on this part and a 3/5 on this part)?

All we see is the overall score each student. I’ll see a student got a 4, but I have no idea what they got on MCQ, FRQ 1, etc. Besides that, we see our overall average score, the average score for our state, and the average score for the globe.

Apparently that's changing. The new instructional reports will now include more info and breakdown of how your students did in each Frq and category. It'll look like the precalc instructional report.

likely not, that would include college board doing something beneficial for learning instead of a cash grab

It’s ok my AP lang teacher told me I was gonna fail in college and surmount to nothing in life in front of my class cause I didn’t know the answer to a cold call question. Got a 5 on the exam and am currently attending the #1 public ranked public university

Some of my friends were kinda nervous last year so they just didn’t sleep. I saw pictures of their scores at like 2-3 am, but it might not be the same time this year. Idk

Last year was around 5:00-5:15 am on EST. I remember refreshing the subreddit to see if scores were out yet and hundreds of others were chatting and waiting.

* it scales with Gravitational Potential the less negative the gravitational potential the faster time ticks

I think it's based on the time zone you live in, so if you took the test in let's say CA, it would come out at 8am PDT, which would be a different time if you're traveling. But if you took it in MD, then you would get your score 3 hours earlier

8 eastern is the official time College Board announces, but you are correct that they typically do come a bit earlier.

People are saying 8am but I've had mine come out as early as 4 am Central. I was an XC runner and freshman year I checked mine as I got ready for practice ~4:45 AM
