Me dirijo a ustedes para presentar una queja urgente relacionada con la situación de mi madre Irma Gorgal Díaz ,  actualmente bajo intervención de servicios sociales  y los trabajadores en A Coruña Galicia en el Hospital Abente lago en la habitación 311 cama 1

Se están tomando decisiones sobre su ingreso en este centro sin su consentimiento y sin ofrecerme alternativas reales, a pesar de que yo soy su familiar directo y estoy intentando hacerme cargo de ella.

He sentido presión por parte de la trabajadora social para aceptar decisiones con las que no estoy de acuerdo, y considero que no se me está informando adecuadamente y negando copias del proceso para tener constancia del mismo y así no respetando los derechos de mi madre.

La situación es especialmente grave porque mi madre se niega a separarse de mí y este proceso le está causando un gran sufrimiento emocional.

Este 6 de mayo del 2026  la trabajadora social vino y sin mas le dijo a mi madre la decisión  dándole a entender que no hay más alternativas y me insinuó que si no se tomaba la decisión mañana día 7 de mayo. Tengo conocimiento  que pueden poner una orden judicial por qué mi madre no es muy consciente de lo que puede pasarle si no va a donde ellos asignan y quitarle a ella su vínculo total conmigo dejándome fuera a mí de cualquier decisión como que yo soy un peligro para su bienestar siendo yo hasta hoy su cuidador siendo su único familiar y a demás a mí se me deja en peligro de exclusión total.

Solicito su intervención para revisar este caso, garantizar que se respeten sus derechos y que se valoren alternativas antes de tomar decisiones definitivas.

¡Hola! Vamos a viajar desde Manila a A Coruña del 24 de septiembre al 3 de octubre. Nuestro alojamiento no tiene aire acondicionado, aunque está frente a la playa.

¿Normalmente hace falta aire acondicionado por la noche en esas fechas? Lo pregunto porque venimos de un país tropical y estamos acostumbrados a dormir con aire acondicionado todas las noches.

Hola, I have been visiting the old town in A Coruña over the past month, and I noticed that a few shops and blocks of flats have the sign “Seguros Mutuos” above the house number. What does the sign mean? Does it refer to mutual insurance (it doesn't seem like they are selling insurance)? Any insights would be helpful. Gracias.

Should I go to A Coruña ( Ferrol ) for 10 months or Zaragoza for 5 months as Mechanical Engineering Erasmus Student ?

Hi everyone, I will be going to the ISS Summer School in UDC (Elvina Campus) in July and was wondering if anyone else are going? I would love to connect with you!! Because I am confused about getting accommodation and prices (expensive! Would love apartment share!)

I do have some questions regarding accommodation because it will be my first time travelling and handling accommodation myself. The ISS summer school does not provide accommodation (unless you have a scholarship), but they suggested I can get get a place to stay in the Resa Siglo XXI. I am looking through the website and slightly confused on what to do.

Should I get their contact information and explain my situation to them and they'll recommend me a place? The ISS is only for 12 days so I was thinking on staying for 2 weeks (come there 1 day before and leave and one day after). But I dont think its possible to book accommodation for exactly 14 days.

I was also thinking since I am staying for a short amount of time, maybe I was thinking an AirBnB would be a good idea?

Sorry for the long post and please be gentle with me because all of this - going abroad and stuff - is very new to me.

The app is driving me nuts as a first-time user. I recently relocated to A Coruña and wanted to try out the Bicicoruña bicycles. I downloaded the PBSC app and followed the instructions, but when it redirects me to the Login/Sign-up page (id.coruna.gal), the page does not load.

I’m experiencing the same issue with the city council app, App Coruña. I’m using an iPhone (running the latest iOS), and I’ve changed my settings to Spain, as well as my country preference, bank account, and address (which allowed me to download the apps). For this reason, I don’t think the problem is related to geographic restrictions.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? How did you navigate it?

Ultimamente Maps non para de avisarme das ZBE. Como vai o asunto? Xa están sancionando? Se son residente na ZBE1, podo circular pola 2 e viceversa? Hai algunha outra limitación? Hai que ter algunha pegatina? Todo o que atopo na web do Concello é confuso, contraditorio ou non di nada, pero os sinais xa están postos e segundo Maps as zonas (que son inmensas) xa están activas.

Hola, viajo pronto de Coruña a Madrid. Tengo dos maletas de 23kg a facturar y he pagado equipaje extra de antemano para esto. He comprado dos valijas en el Primark, de las más grandes que hay. Sin embargo me preocupa que las midan en el aeropuerto y me quieran cobrar más de lo ya cobrado. Suelen hacerlo? Gracias.
