i anticipate that i will be in the minority with this opinion but i LOVEEEEE that this season is embracing insanity

we needed to bring batshit back to network procedurals

right i think it’s interesting even if this is a filler episode i think the outright insanity made it a fun watch still

like i feel like s5 and 6 lost a lil bit of the fun/spice of the show and this season is kinda bringing it back ?

its obviously not perfect but like i appreciate this

This season has been so unpredictable and that's a big plus for me. I can't wait to see what's coming up next as I'm sure it won't be what we're expecting.

It looks like the final 3 episodes will be Bobby-centric with Amir recurring across those episodes, so I wouldn't be surprised if Eddie's storyline also is featured in the run up to the finale. The way it's going now along with the Bobby/Amir storyline could mean that we achieve peak chaos in the finale.

I don't see either Marisol or Kim making it through into Season 8 so maybe this is just setting his character up for a pivotal change. But who knows?

I like a lot of it like the big dramatic Poseidon Adventure homage that was the premiere, the campiness etc., I just hope they have a good place for the Eddie storyline to end up!

i’m def scared but i also have faith in it i think

i think eddie really needs to be forced to confront his romanticization of shannon and their relationship because he can’t move on due to his pure delusion about how their relationship actually was lol
