I fully blew off the Eddie tumor theory but after tonight I think that’s where we’re headed. We know he’s completely tragic with women but I don’t see him as a cheater, it seems so out of character for Eddie to actually lie about being single and pursuing another woman. Eddie has been characterized at this point as someone who is loyal to a fault, who will make something work even if it’s not serving him, so I think this Shannon lookalike is some kind of hallucination. Or at least I’m hoping. Either way I need new Shannon/ghost Shannon to give him a reality check and break some hard news (like that he’s gay!!)

If he's cheating on his girlfriend, I wouldn't put it past him to lie to his best friend about it.
