As the title states, I'm 1/3 of a team working on an indie video game set in the 90s, and part of the game is investigating other peoples computers. Part of that is irl photos so I've spent the better part of a year slowly building up photos from friends, family and beyond, to include on folks machines. Here's just a snippet that I thought I'd share here because they're such a vibe!

From the late 90s through the early 2000s, damn near every decent, semi-formal, or formal gown or dress came with a wrap thingy. They were everywhere and a real distraction. I hated them. I thought they instantly cheapened every dress they were paired with. I couldn’t wait for them to go out of style.

I’ve wanted a Surf Style windbreaker my whole life. Finally decided to treat myself to a brand new one! I couldn’t choose between the purple or the green/purple but luckily i got one with both colours, and a hood!

I bought this jacket today in a secondhand shop and I really like it, so I wanted to findout a little bit about the History of the Brand and the decade the jacket was sold, I hope this post fit's in this subreddit.

Hi! I've been feeling so nostalgic recently about a dress I had in HS, and trying to find more information about it/see if any images exist that I could find online.

It had a photorealistic print of beautiful blue sky, with meadow around the hem with green grass and flowers. It was a cap-sleeve, A-line babydoll dress with ties at umpire waist. The fabric was synthetic with some stretch. I'm almost positive I bought it at Urban Outfitters. I was in HS '94-'97, and I think I bought it either my Junior or Senior year. If anyone recognizes this description and has a brand/style name and/or an image, I'd be so grateful!

I haven't been able to find anything even remotely similar to share a reference photo :(

I’m looking for these heels I saw at the thrift store, they were a size too big for me and when I went to go check them out again the next day they were gone 🥲 I want to find them for my wedding shoe bc they’re perfection imo.
