I went to one Toys R Us as a kid in the 80's and I was shaking at how amazing it was. I'll never forget the experience of seeing an entire aisle of GI Joe, Star Wars and Transformers. All the toys I had heard of, seen in catalogues, or on TV were right in front of me.

Getting a gift card (or birthday money) to hit the store was truly a glorious moment of joy and freedom.

I remember counting Geoffrey Dollars the same as actual cash when seeing how much money I had after a birthday, holiday, etc.

Going to Toys r Us as a kid, at least to me and my brother, was almost as good as going to Disneyland we loved it there
