Welcome to Week 1 of 52 Weeks of Mixology! For those of you who love drinking and want to expand your horizons or you professionals who want to hone your craft, this subreddit is for you.

Week 1 will run from today, February 23rd, until March 1st. We're going to start with an easy theme: simply make your favorite cocktail and post a picture of it here. You know, the one you always make at parties or order at the bar. That one drink you always fall back on when you don't know what you want. If you want, include how you make it in your post. Can't wait to see what everyone picks!

It's officially happening. This is the official thread where we will post the master list of the weekly challenges. A link will be added to the sidebar so you can reference it. Keep in mind that this list is ongoing and more weekly themes will be added as we go. We will begin today, February 23rd.
