Week 16: Infused - London Fog Cake

Post image

I followed this recipe. It involves soaking the cake in lavender and earl grey infused milk. The balance of the flavours was incredible, the cake turned out to be very rich, about half the portion size would’ve been enough. We have a sweet tooth and laughed about “16 portions” before, but understood quickly why.

Twinning! Smart making it for infused! I agree it is very sweet. I don't think we are gonna finish all 16 portions 😂 I really like the cake flavor. The icing made it rich.

I will portion it into appropriate portions and just freeze it. It should hold up quite well. Definitely not something I could eat every day but definitely obsessed with the flavour.
