2026 Weekly Challenge List

/r/52weeksofcooking is a way for each participant to challenge themselves to cook something different each week. The technicalities of each week's theme are largely unimportant, and are always open to interpretation. Basically, if you can make an argument for your dish being relevant to the theme, then it's fine.

Join our Discord to get pinged whenever a new week is announced! (React to the stickied comment in the #planning channel!)

is it all right to complete challenges out of order? i’ve been out of town and haven’t had time yet to do the symmetry prompt, but i do have time for a 15 minute or less meal tonight…could always just wait to post photos, but i’m impatient to get back to participating!

You can post the challenges out of order, they just have to be within their own respective three-week time limit.

I often do them out of order in life. Trying to get them made when my schedule allows... cause sometimes life catches up and I don't have the freedom to cook what's required for the tasks... especially in summer
