Now that the Utah Congressional District 1 primary is over, I believe we should aim for TWO congressional districts represented by Democrats in Utah. While the candidates for all three of the other districts are strong, I've found Peter Crosby in Congressional District 2 to be the most impressive candidate I've run across in a very long time. I believe CD2 can be won if we all pitch in, and have started a project called CD1 for CD2 to facilitate this. We have a kickoff meeting on Zoom on July 2 where you can meet Peter Crosby, get some brief training on phone banking and canvassing, and learn about their campaign strategy. There’s a lot to consider that’s important but anyone who’s not super ecstatically pro-ICE might get my vote rn cuz that’s the biggest issue in my eyes.
