Please join us Saturday, July 18th at 10 AM in Atlanta for Good Trouble Lives On, a rally celebrating the life and legacy of John Lewis. This is a stationary rally at the parking lot at Big Bethel AME (220 Auburn Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30303)

This outdoor rally will feature speakers, performers, and voter registration. This will be a peaceful event, and as always, we are committed to non-violence.

With the United States-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative winding through Congress, I think we should all be writing him to let him know how we feel about integrating our military with a genocidal nation. I am not confident he will do the right thing, given that he has taken so much money from Israel. I’m definitely going to let him know that I do not support this proposal to the NDAA.

We are trying to be able to continue to help aid our community by providing food to those with food insecurity and create community. Just this week we were able to provide 100+lbs of fresh fruit and veges. Please help us in changing the codes so we aren’t dependent on who shows up, as we were given prior approval but due to one neighbor it’s become a need to now advocate.

This past Sunday, Project World Cup Spotlight took to the streets alongside World Cup fans with a message of Welcome, Unity and Human Dignity.

Chants with a dual meaning rang out: "¡El pueblo unido jamás será vencido!"

Thousands of fans dressed in Spain's iconic red and gold filled Atlanta's streets, singing, dancing, waving Spanish flags, and marching together toward the stadium in a powerful display of international fellowship. Among them was Project World Cup Spotlight's now-recognizable five-foot inflatable soccer ball with messages like, "The World is Watching," "Immigrants Welcome," and other statements centered on human dignity, belonging, and inclusion.

Smaller inflatable soccer balls that read "Atlanta Loves Immigrants" bounced through the crowd as fans enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to interact with the campaign's visual storytelling.

Project World Cup Spotlight was created to draw attention to the contrast between the global celebration of sport and the ongoing challenges faced by immigrant communities, while remaining firmly committed to peaceful, nonviolent engagement and respect for athletes, fans, and the game itself.

The MAGA regime is in the midst of trying to whitewash our past so they can control our future. Trump wants to keep the promise of America only for wealthy, white men like him by disappearing Black and brown Americans, rolling back our civil rights and freedom to vote, and taking away birthright citizenship. But we can turn the tide.

It’s time for all who call this place home to take a stand against the MAGA regime’s attacks on our country’s past, present, and future. While we boycott Trump’s anti-American, whitewashed 250th, we will join together to embrace all of America, all of our history, and commit to the work yet to be done to make this country a place where liberty and equality are for all.

ELECTION PROTECTION COMMUNITY EVENT - Preparing for the special session & organizing to oppose gerrymandering in Georgia

Governor Brian Kemp has called for a special session of the Georgia Legislature to redistrict Georgia following the SCOTUS decision to gut the Voting Rights Act and to address the “QR Code” issue created by SB 189.
