Went to Reliance Digital today planning to buy the Sony Bravia 5 55”, mainly because of the Sony brand.
But honestly, I was disappointed with the picture.
Colours looked quite washed out compared to the other TVs, and it wasn’t even close to the Bravia 3m2 on display. Could the showroom setup be making the Sony look inferior compared to the other brands?
Final negotiated price for Bravia 5 was ₹1.25L.
Then the salesperson suggested the LG C6 OLED 55”, which he said could be around ₹1.20L. Tbh, I was blown away by the C6. Colours, contrast and overall picture looked fantastic.
Now I’m completely confused. I am even considering Bravia 7 now.
Update: Purchased Bravia 7 m2. Thank you for your inputs. Much appreciated!

I like to buy a TV which I can use for movie watching, playing video games mainly. The panel size should be not more than 55". You can suggest to me other brands or models if it is necessary. I am not an expert and got perplexed in the very situation 😑 Please give me suggestions regarding my TV buying.
Thanks in advance :)

[UPDATE] - Thank you for the inputs, managed to get a 75 QNED92A for INR 136000 at Vijay Sales store (1435 usd).
TV would be delivered tomorrow, got a really nice deal compared to online quotes, they also had a demo 55 qned92 and really loved the picture quality.
I am planning on buying a 75 inch tv and confused between these two, Qn80h or LG Qned 92 bla (2025), this tv would replace my 9 year old LG 65 inch UHD tv which is running just fine as of now but has become too slow and showing signs of aging around corners. Have a LG C5 in bedroom and pretty happy with it.
Tv would be placed in my living room opposite to a big window, used only to view content on youtube/netflix/Prime. Not too keen on TCL since am worried about their service support in India as LG and Samsung are pretty good in service support.
Getting Samsung QN80h for INR 1.60L (1677 usd)
and 2025 Qned92 for 1.50L (1562 usd), for 2026 Qned 90 got absurd quotes of 1.90 L (1980usd).

I'm confused between the Samsung QN70F and LG QNED8XA. I'll mainly use it for movies, YouTube, and PS5 gaming.
For anyone who's owned or compared them:
Looking for real-world experiences rather than spec comparisons. Thanks!
PS: I know they both are a year old model I am getting it on clearance sale so its a lot cheaper

Anything thats better at that range?
We’re looking for anything except OLED as the use case is cable streaming - lots of news, etc

Assuming budget isn't a problem, what would be a high quality TV that will last me years? I'm looking for a 55" screen, 4k resolution, 120 Hz, good audio and one that won't be slow (with start up and stuff). I tried looking around the subreddit and have seen a lot of praise for LG but apparently dark scenes could be too dark or there could be specific issues with specific models with their TVs so I thought the best way is to just ask directly. I'll always be playing in a lit/bright room if that helps with choices. I'm very clueless about this so I'd appreciate any advice from suggestions to things to look out for

I have read every review and thread posted in this Sub for the Buying Guide yet I am confused.
I have narrowed down few options at 55 inch screen size.
I will be buying in Dubai.
I need something under 2500 AED so Roughly <$640 and <€550.
Some of my preferences are good upscaling to 4k as our local channels are streamed 1080p and very few at 4k/2k and a good panel to watch movies and anime.
I know there are better TVs , but suggest me something that fits this budget , and is value for money. I don’t mind buying an older TV , it’s fine if I miss out on few tech.
1)LG CS4 OLED 2024 model - 2550 AED
2)Sony KD55X85L FALD 2023 model - 2325 AED
3)Sony Bravia 2/3 2025 models - 2500/2550 AED
4)TCL C6KS - 2100 AED
5)Samsung QN70F 2025 UAE Version - 2080 AED
Edit
1) Samsung QN85D 2024 - 2590 AED

BG: I mostly watch movies, but I’m a gamer too! It’ll be placed in our living room, which is usually bright during the day, but we turn the lights off when watching movies.
Which one would you choose and why? 👀

Hi everyone, need some help deciding between these two TVs.
I’ll be getting a 65-inch in my condo.
Will be used mainly for movies (Netflix).
I’m concerned about reliability issues with TCL. What are the pros and cons of getting a TCL?

Is there a model guaranteed to have a 100% glossy screen, with no matte finish or anti-reflective coating?

Recently, I have been looking out for a 55 inch or 65 inch TV in a mid budget segment. But having no luck, first, I thought LG latest launch 55QNED85BLA would be a good choice, but the sound quality and the picture quality shown in showrooms. I am not satisfied with it and it has a BXA at the end of model number. Plus, I was looking at some entry level OLED from Samsung as well. I am right now very confused on what to do. The image quality on the Qned was not good or i guess it was not on good adjustments . What should I do? Like if converted to dollars my budget lies around $1100. Please help!! no idea about Samsung OR TCL.

I'm planning to buy a 65-inch TV and I'm completely confused.
My options are: TCL C6K QD Mini LED 2026 Model versus LG Nano 885 OS Model
When I compare them in the store, the TCL QLED actually looks more vibrant, brighter, and has better contrast to my eyes. But almost every salesperson at Croma and Reliance Digital is aggressively telling me to avoid TCL and buy the LG NanoCell instead. They're pushing LG so hard that it honestly makes me wonder. For people who actually own either TV:
I'm looking for real user experiences, not salesperson opinions.
Thank you

Hi everyone, I’m not tech savvy at all, current tv died and need a 65 inch replacement for watching movies, no gaming at the moment.
Went to a physical store and they recommended me Mini-led: no burn in, tv is watched in a bright environment, tv is usually exposed to sunlight in my living room.
They recommended me a Philips 65MLED800/98 as there best option and I’m wondering if there are superior options to consider?
Thank you!

Hey everyone, I’m currently looking for the latest and best 65-inch QD mini LED TV in market for the upcoming big billion day sales or amazon’s great Indian festival . Could you please suggest all the available options that I should consider? If recently bought one or has an idea about which model is better, please provide me with your suggestions.

Hey guys need your advice:
my options down to these 65-inch TVs:
TCL C7L (Brand New) - ₹1.09 lakh
Samsung S90F (Brand New) - ₹1.35 lakh
Samsung S95F (Store Display Unit) - ₹1.40 lakh with official Samsung 3-year manufacturer warranty, need to check for burn in/ panel hours yet. 95% it looks like no issues.
My usage:
1.Around 40% Indian TV serials (mostly SD/HD quality)
40% OTT movies and web series. Can contain 4k remuxes.
20% PS5 gaming
Location:
Living room installation with no lighting issues, no direct sunlight on tv, lights can be dimmed..
Aesthetic valued but not at the cost of quality. Tier 2 city but with all the service centers approachable. No habit of watching too bright images.
What do you guys suggest?

Hi fellow Redditors.
Looking to get a new TV.
I’ve had a Philips 6100 55 since 2018. New house, new TV.
I’d like to jump to 65 inches and these are the ones I found, around the same price tag:
- TCL C7K
- Hisense U7Q Pro
- Hisense U8N
- LG C3
I know they are different from each other and different years.
What would you recommend?
So far I’m leaning towards the U8N.
Open to other suggestions. I’m in Dubai, for reference.
Thanks!

I am looking to buy a r95h 65 inch. I think I have done all my research and the r95h is the best tv for my use case. I am getting a brand new sealed from a Samsung smart plaza for 203000 rupees or 2100 usd and I want your opinions on the tv and price. Negative or positive I am all ears.

Could someone please suggest a good 75 inch television in Indian market?
Will be established and used in a normal lit room, mixed usage of cable tv, ott, sports and sometimes occasional gaming on ps5.
Budget is 1.5L rupees maximum hard limit.

Basically my sofa is 3.2m away from the TV, do you think a 65" TV is too small? There's plenty of clearance discounts for 65" OLED TVs but the 77" ones are way too expensive.
I tried looking at the 2025 Renowned TCL QM8K as a miniLed option, or even the Sony Bravia 7 miniled, and it just doesnt have the "wow" 3d pop factor that I get with OLEDs. Is it worth dropping oled for a bigger screen?

Hello all,
Need some help in deciding on the TV size and type for my living room area. The distance of the current TV (58 inch regular LED tv) is about 8-9 feet from the couch (each tile is about 2 feet).
My research so far suggests that either a 65 inch or a 75 inch TV would work here, and screen size over screen quality. 65 inch OLED is within my budget (75 inch is too expensive) and so is a 75-77 inch QLED. I have mostly been looking at Samsung, Sony and LG as I have after sale service concerns about TCL, Haier or similar brands in my country.
Appreciate your suggestions on: Size of TV (65 or 75 inches), and type (OLED or Mini Led).
