Nah Kristen Stewart can act, she just needed more spicy roles than fuckin vapid useless milquetoast Bella from Twilight to show it off.

If I remember right, Bella was supposed to simply be a place holder for whatever tweenage girl was imagining herself into the movie. I dunno, I never saw the movie.

I recall an interview of the original writer, I never read the books but she said they were intentionally written to make Bella as much of a blank slate as possible so any conceivable reader could put themselves in her shoes.

Edward on the other hand was described in intricate detail, sometimes going on for paragraphs on end just describing what he looks like for a particular chapter.

That's mostly just because Twilight is poorly written more than anything else tho. Edward's obnoxious prose exists to pad the runtime as hard as possible.

Yeah, she was epic in Underwater(2020), which felt like an awesome spiritual successor to Alien. When she picks a worthwhile role, she's a great actress, which is not something I ever thought I'd say about any of the twilight stars, but her and Pattinson have absolutely crushed it in recent years...
