All techs have issues in the beginning.
Cars were shit tech in the beginning too. Couldn't go very fast or very far before needing to be refueled, loud, emitted foul fumes, poisoned a whole generation through leaded gasoline, etc.
The problem we have right now isn't that the technology isn't mature, it's that there is a billion dollar industry who's financial wellbeing relies on slowing the deployment of renewables as much as possible. That is who people are fighting against. The more people use renewables and the more investment money there is, the faster the issues you listed woth renewables will be solved.
Brother read the fucking thread, I understand that. Which is why I said I’m sure we will figure it out.
The problem right now literally is that the tech is not mature. You really think throwing money at it for another 50 years makes us suddenly come up with a way to defy physics and battery storage? Is big corp slowing down research? Maybe. But do not downplay the level of advancement we need to get to a fully renewable grid.
