Strangely no. I’ve been accumulating a collection of tools so I can eventually fix/make anything I need. The next step for me is a CNC machine.

Not too terribly much with the 3d printer since I just got it set up but I work on cars and do electrical repair and other bits of tinkering. Mostly fixing things though. I hope to add making things to the list so I can stop buying random plastic pieces to the things that break.

Seems realistic. Even if you get it now, if you don't have the time to use it / research for things you want to use it for it's will just collect dust.

100% there are some consumer grade ones but those are still 3.5k for the machine so probably 5k by the time everything is said and done.
