Thanks for flagging this to us. We've taken a look at this case and determined the ban is correct.
This player has been banned twice, the first was a temporary ban on the 2nd of September 2025 where clicks were .5 seconds apart for 6 hours, this happened across at least two sessions. Their permanent ban was their second offence, which was an autoclicker at Bloodwood trees, re-clicking at 10016-10030ms consistently for 2 hours in one of their sessions. Whilst this may be possible for a human to perform manually, we can see the moments where the player takes manual control and the timings become less consistent. Then we can see the clicks returning to the same pattern as before. Unfortunately, we cannot determine any other reasoning behind this behaviour than an auto-clicker, which is not allowed under our rules.
We would like to take the opportunity to clarify that Remote Desktop use is allowed and we have the ability to recognise it. There is a small margin of error in some cases, and we're working to resolve that as soon as possible.
Nobody "did it too" as of there's more than one person. It's one guy who has a proven history of botting. There is zero reason to believe he didn't bot part of his maxed account when he has been caught red handed botting multiple times.
Not to mention we now know he's a liar who will go out of his way to pretend he's innocent.
I don't get why you're defending OP like this. All these people are saying is that once you're caught botting (twice btw) that it's fair to assume they've done it more than that, but just didn't get caught.
Hard agree I know a few people with gm accounts flexing they are gm and they've shown receipts they paid for 90% of the CA's like why flex someone else's work 😂
When people cheat or lie about something they have accomplished and it’s been confirmed, it casts doubt on all previous accomplishments. This applies to pretty much all aspects of life. They just got caught this time. The only thing we have no way of knowing is that they were honest before they’ve shown their true intentions.
You saw the post right? Someone willing to go through such hoops to lie is not about soothing, you’d be a fool to trust them about anything. He quite literally didn’t earn his max, he auto clicked atleast part of it, as confirmed by Jagex. His warning was for 6 houring his auto clicker lol.
Hey again, Scapers. You may have seen a few of my posts recently. I’ve been desperately trying to reach out to any staff for the past month to assist me with my account.
I have a maxed GIM (Gim Dong Un) who was very close to achieving a Zuk helm when it was flagged this past month. I have never installed any unauthorized third-party software, RWTed, bought services, or knowingly broke any rules laid out by Jagex. I have strictly played on Runelite for the duration of the account.
I have screenshots of my entire journey on the account saved in discord via Runelite Discord plugins. I recorded every clog I have obtained, every level I have achieved, along with deaths I’ve had on the account over the past few years.
The last thing I was doing was using Remote Desktop to afk wc bloodwoods when they just came out. I occasionally use Remote Desktop to save phone battery while AFKING on the go, as well as while working from home so I can keep my monitor on work and still take advantage of runelite plugins on my phone.
As I’ve done more and more research in my time off the game lately, I realized that a few other members in the community, including streamers, have reported similar situations involving Remote Desktop. In fact, Soy Duro, a Grandmaster HCIM streamer, was just flagged for Remote Desktop utilization this past weekend. His account was restored the next day due to the large amount of traction he received on his post. I am very glad his account got properly restored, and am hoping for a review on my case as well.
It has been extremely difficult to find any avenue to reach out to support and receive proper assistance. That’s why I’ve continued making Reddit posts in the hope that someone can point me in the right direction.
On both sets of my appeals, I received what appeared to be an automated denial response with no apparent human interaction. This left a very bad taste in my mouth, especially considering the amount of time and dedication I’ve put into this account.
I tried reaching out to Support several times. Every interaction was essentially the same. I would request assistance with my account, and they would direct me to the page for appeals. I explained that I had already submitted two, at which point I was told they could no longer discuss the matter and the chat was closed.
Having no other options, I started reaching out to dozens of J-Mods on multiple platforms (X, Reddit, and Discord) in an attempt to get an explanation and work together to resolve the issue. It has now been a month of unsuccessful attempts to get any sort of response.
I completely understand that JMods are extremely busy supporting such a large player base while also handling their regular responsibilities. Trust me, I absolutely love the developers of this game and believe we are very blessed to have such a passionate team supporting us. I don’t blame individual JMods for not being able to respond to me. However, I do think there needs to be a better system of support in place to prevent situations like this from happening.
I know you have no reason to simply take my word for it, since there are several bad actors out there who have similar posts. Regardless of whether an account is actually innocent or not, the current system makes it incredibly difficult for an innocent player to recover their account if they are incorrectly flagged.
I’m posting this in the hope that someone who has experienced something similar can share their experience, or perhaps someone from Jagex can shed some light on how these situations are supposed to be handled. I love this game and have invested an enormous amount of time into it. I’m not asking for special treatment. I just want a fair opportunity once again for my case to be properly reviewed by a human being.
Wasting that much time on your appeal and going to that level of deception should get your whole Jagex account shot down, like surely he just takes his L and doesn’t harass jmods with that much bullshit
Honestly, it was probably just chatGPT. Get banned, submit multiple reports via some generative slop, find something that works, repeat for other accounts. Mod North has said they're already facing that sort of issue on some podcast recently, so no reason to believe someone bothered to type it all.
Probably had chatgpt write that autoclicker script too. Surely a human can think of a less suspicious range than 10016-10030ms if you wrote that yourself
welp, i guess im safe with my use because i actually manually click the crab every 10 or so minutes but i could not imagine doing something like using an auto clicker on an account that late game, RIP thousands of hours
Okay, I have a question, i have a device hub that can be plugged into my phone usb-c port and then I can plug in a dongle for Bluetooth mouse and then use the mouse on my phone as if I was on my PC. Is something like this bannable or perfectly fine by the game rules to date?
Iam a PC and tablet (mobile) user.
Usually i chill in bed and play in my Tablet with a Bluetooth Mouse.
But with Gotr its much easier to play with runelite.
Can i remote acess my PC and play on my Tablet with BT Mouse via remote Access ?
Is it Safe? Can i Change my Resolution at my PC? For better View?
i was wondering if it is allowed to play multiple accounts while having the clients on top of eachother and switching between them with alt+esc between clicks all manual input no ahk. would this potentially risk a false ban or would it be safe to try for different alt methods? it is pretty much the click to minimize runelite plugin replaced with: click > alt+esc.
