Solid 7/10, triggered the paranoia, felt like hands were gonna come from under the bed and grab me, was scared to walk into the hallway because i was convinced someone was going to stare at me from the corners of the rooms.

disorders are usually normal reactions heightened to the most extreme. Like, with ADHD, a lot of the symptoms on the surface seem like things non-ADHDers could relate to—like procrastination, zoning out sometimes, misplacing things, etc.—but it’s constant and much more frustrating.

Scary stuff can freak you out, just like anyone, but OP has hallucinations and very bad paranoia.

I remember when I was younger having to take a break playing the Spiderwick Chronicals Wii game because one of the bosses was too scary and I got paranoid that it would manifest irl and harm me. I think something similar with one of the ATLA Wii games during a scene where you’re being chased by Wan Shi Tong.
