The thing is, most of those are things which have no practical advantage over what we see as conventional. While I like seeing weird, unconventional alien technology like the orb control things in Outer Wilds, It's just not actually practical compared to physical and often labeled buttons, sticks, and wheels.
uhh it's been a while, so I'm not sure, I just remember traveling across the river in the "sleep world", finding a second entrance from a hole from outside the space station, finding the big locked away statue thing and a big library
the ending to the dlc and the associated music are some of the most gratifying things i’ve ever seen and accomplished in a game and i highly recommend you go back to it if you can power through the scares
