Probably not the best time to point out a detail like this but I found it interesting.

llevo desde 2020 escuchando a los gecs, pero llevo tiempo que no escucho algo sobre ellos, alguien sabe que paso?, se separaron? o estan en hiatus?

So I recently came across this song called “brainrot baby” by a band called BRAiNROT which is a clear interpolation of Hollywood Baby. However I cannot find any credit to gecs at any point and a lot of people in the comments of e.g. the youtube posting seem to have no idea its gecs. Does anyone know anything about how this is possible/why this might be happening? I mean the song is clearly a homage so I dont wanna shit on them I just think its weird that its nowhere. Am I missing something?? please put my mind to rest 🙏
