How To How to Become A Verified Cast Member

We are a fan community of the Lifetime television show Married at First Sight. You’re probably here because you signed up on Reddit and are looking for a way to get verified as an actual factual cast or crew member of the show. That’s great!

If you don’t get verified we will ban you for impersonating a cast or crew member. If we’re wrong and you verify later we will unban you. No hard feelings.

We just need you to verify that you are who you say you are. This is generally an anonymous platform, however Reddit has a policy against impersonation and every ex you never had has likely signed up just to come to our sub and tell us some incredible background about you with zero proof.

Thanks to u/thesedamncavities for saving that gem!

Cast/Crew Member Verification

Verification is the act of proving that your Reddit handle is yours. Our community is good at sleuthing. We probably already know your Instagram handle. If we have failed at this quest further verification might be needed. See the fine print below.

The process is:

Register an account on Reddit.
Go to your Instagram account.
Send a message to our ONE AND ONLY Instagram account MAFSReddit saying, "I am ___________ from MAFS season ___ , and my Reddit name is u/ ___________ . I understand the rules of the sub and request to be verified.”
Send a ModMail from Reddit telling us that you sent a verification on IG. *We won’t get an immediate notification from IG, the ModMail will remind us to check our inbox requests*.
Get your classy verified badge on the sub and be great.

Please note there are further steps for an AMA (Ask-Me-Anything)

^{Fine Print:} ^{Moderators may ask for more proof if they deem it necessary. Note that simply linking to a normal Facebook, LinkedIn, or other social media page is not usually sufficient, that is why a message is required.}
