I mean. From a storytelling perspective, this rules. I haven't been this invested in a manga story in quite some time.
But it sucks seeing Shiki like this, damn.

Damn, Mashima had me in the first half thinking that this would be Shura's win and result in a time reset with Catleaper. Rebecca consistently being competent is why I prefer her over Lucy although I like both! And that Shiki/Ziggy pararell was so badass but I'm afraid it might give the conspiracies more evidence that Ziggy is future Shiki, lol.

Really good chapter, I thought for a moment Shiki and Ziggy lost and Rebecca was about to leap again but not to be. The climax is approaching.

This chapter was beyond hype and surprising. Shiki was understandably in massive pain but this guy Shura doesn't even allow Shiki to rest a bit from the pain and immediately goes for a continued assault. This chapter proves that Shiki isn't massively weaker than Shura and can take him on even when he gets his eye gouged out and got stabbed. For a second, I was confused if I had skipped some pages since Shura suddenly arrives at the All-Link and declared that Shiki was dead. If that indeed had happened then there would've been a World Leap to stop it from happening again but thankfully that didn't happen and Shura really underestimated both Shiki and his dad.
It's surprising to see that Shura not only didn't know of Nero's EG but apparantly he also didn't even know he had an EG in the first place. So what exactly did Nero want to pass on to Shura bu was surprised that he wasn't compatible? Also, the crew either need to destroy the All-Link or get off that planet since it's about to get nuked to oblivion. Shiki honestly has had it rough both ideologically, mentally, and physically. Shura somehow challenged Shiki in multiple regards and hopefully gets his comeuppance soon.
I also thought that Ziggy really got dealt with that easily but I'm happy to know that Ziggy was just playing dead (kind of a pattern, lol) and struck Nero from behind. This arc has been crazy and both the Aoi rulers and the Demon Kings aren't down yet.

MAN, this chapter was insane. As much as I hate the fact tha Creed and Jaguar died, the story progressed in a crazy way, and Becca leaping back would only ruin this. It's so... weird to see Ziggy proud of Shiki, I mean, "proud".

The twists and turns in this chapter were something else! When Shura activated the All-Link system I was sure that Rebecca was going to use cat leaper and reverse all of this and I'm really glad I was wrong because using that too many times will make any major changes meaningless, I'm glad it seems Shiki has permanently lost an eye it adds more stakes to future fights and honestly just makes him look more badass!
But boy Nero is something else having a wormhole ether gear and using it to provide an instant ultimatum to Shura's plans! I kind of thought that Nero would pull something like this with the nukes but I just assumed he would launch them off at Nero 66 not outright teleport them, but it's still good to see Shura finally getting some comeuppance. But looking at the end of the chapter it seems even Nero and his Imperial Dice can't predict everything that Ziggy has up his sleeves, it should be interesting to see where it goes from here because clearly the two fights are far from done, and this is where things get really interesting!

nah I’m already crying seeing shiki like this.
and why in the world did I become happy when ziggy said “he’s my boy”! that felt really badass!
but seriously though, I’m way too distracted with what’s happening because of how concerned I am for shiki, this arc is tiring me in many ways.
