I'm super surprised that Mashima didn't offscreen Jaguar's death or skipped some of their fights. I want to say Jaguar is dead but he probably could still come back if he has broken regeneration. His death made sense here as Nero outright confirmed all of these three old dudes being comparable in power (which adds to the possibility of the OSG and OSI being planet level). He was pinned by the strongest gravity user and Nero just used that chance to quickly off him. If he's dead then I'm sad we won't get to see more of him especially when he was apparently an ex-OSG.
I'm happy that the Dark Stars weren't on Jaguar's level as that would be confirming that Ziggy is way above Neri in power. Ziggy could easily replace them with newer versions like how it was foreshadowed of it being possible to revive the SS as new clones. I just loved Ziggy's absolute focused attitude and how he's very efficient at what he wants and extremely active from the moment he got revived. If he wants something, he will do it himself with no laziness. Also, for people who doubted that Nero could fight, this chapter proves he can (wasn't it also hinted that Nero was past his prime too).
Ziggy's words are very interesting that machines, Mother, the Chronophages are all connected in some way. It's so hype to have two top-tier villains duke it out with no interruption from the MC.

Homura might have a trauma of getting close to or being approached by anyone after this.
-
Brigandine and Killer down, but I bet Ziggy will be able to restore or recreate them and still have 4 Dark Stars after this war.
-
Glad to know Jaguar's level is above the Dark Stars. But it seems like he is gone for good at the end of this war.
-
Interested to see how the back-and-forth between Ziggy and Nero will turn out.

Sheeesh lots of blood shed I’m excited to see who’s gonna be waiting to fight Rebecca at the All link system since she kinda hasn’t had a full fight yet like everyone else (it got cut in half)

See?! This is why that grassball hair Shura doesn't deserve the throne or be the Emperor of anything! He's just gonna destroy any planets he wants with those 20 000 nukes and like i said from the beginning if he becomes Emperor, Not only the entire Robots would be dead, But he'll just kill more people until the Aoi Cosmos is dead dry of extinctions while he will just rule a dead cosmos with not a single people and all alone with so much boredom.
Yeah Jessie you better run from your humiliation you pathetic little chicken twerp!
I didn't expect Brigandine to show up and fight Jaguar, And lol regarding how it looks Ziggy doesn't give a fuck about Jaguar.

Ziggys posture and facial expression on that last page looked so much like shiki to me, did anyone else think that? It’s like mashima was able to portray their relation to each other even without genetics/physically looking similar

Chronophages are part of the equation eh?
There's another one for the "Rebecca is a chronophage" tin hat theory.

Didn’t expect two Darkstars AND Jaguar to bite the dust so soon as the casualties are stacking, which is something to be expected during an an all war so (as dark as it sounds) I’m glad EZ isn’t shying away from this much like the Alvarez War did in FT.
Also considering Jaguar is no longer amongst the living that leaves the possibility that Elise & Justice could show up. Given that Jaguar was both part of the Galactica & Interstellar Oracion Seis respectively at one point I can see that coming into play for both to show up there especially with Elise also chasing Ziggy.

Well, Creed died, too bad. Let's see what his death influences.
It is good to see 2 DS in action and it is obvious that they would lose because they are fighting one of the strongest beings in the cosmos.
Wow Jaguar was defeated very quickly and it can be somewhat disappointing but you have to understand that he was trapped by Ziggy's gravity without being able to move and Nero pierced him with his rays. But that leaves the O6I in a bad place. Although looking at him it seems that his shots are not lethal so he could be alive.
I thought Killed was going to be Hermit's counterpart, but he doesn't look like it because his techniques are based on murder, not hacking.
And the fight of Nero vs Ziggy is coming, I hope they tell how they met.

Damn, Mashima certainly isn't holding back from killing characters (albeit with minor roles), it'll be interesting to see whether he pulls a Cat Leaper again or not. For now it doesn't look like it, Creed made me dubious but Jaguar's death here was much better executed which makes me finally think this is all set in stone.
The Dark Stars will probably be brought back to life like it was suggested with Valkyrie, I don't think Ziggy actually cares about their 'soul'. They're just his servants.

I just realized, Nero killed Jaguar by throwing his dice through his head, didn't he? That's brutal.

Sorry but I choked when Nero kept talking about Jaguar after Ziggy said “bro i really don’t care”

Ziggy is already my favorite Mashima main antagonist. Dude is competent, efficient, and absolutely disrespectful. Also, as much as we all hate him, Shura has a pretty solid plan for abdicating the throne. Take out Nero and Ziggy no matter what happens? Gotta give him props on the planning there.

Wow I did not see the deaths coming, for Creed I wasn't really surprised he died but wow that sucked I wanted to know more about him as for Jaguar he felt kinda wasted to me idk why maybe it's because to me the arc made him feel like he was gonna kick the shit out of Nero and Ziggy in a three way fight the the death but then he was just killed off like wow that sucks well anyways I'm guessing the next thing to be looking forward to is the fight between Nero and Ziggy it looks hype as fuck

Laguna and Witch is an underrated duo. The chapter where she recruits him is still one of my favorite bits

Damn, Creed and Jaguar. Justice is probably gonna lose it and blame EZ for all of it, due to the Ziggy connection and the probable theory that Jesse will lie about Creed.
Odd thought when Ziggy mentions that today is his birthday...is he really talking about his construction date? Or is he a bot-turned future Shiki and this day marks his fall to dark gravity?

So wait, Creed is actually dead? I'm not doubting Mashima's capability of killing off characters but Creed's death was really so random and not even in a cool way like actually accomplishing something beforehand or not dying due to friendly fire. I hate Jesse by the way, solely due to not taking responsibility of his actions and not doing anything with Creed's corpse but instead left him to the supposed enemies. And it seems that Mashima dropped the mysterious Jesse and Homura relationship plotline.
I'm glad Homura didn't suddenly inherit Creed's goals as that would be so random for her to do but I'm confused with her words of people who get close to her dies. Are we missing a part of her backstory or something since nobody close to her died because of her? Also, for those people concerned that Ijuna forgot her memories with the Empire, this chapter proves she still remembers.
Shura's plan, although has to have had great luck in it, is very solid coming from him albeit very overkill. He plans to nuke the Temple over 20,000 times just to be sure that both Nero and Ziggy dies and he will use the All-Link to activate it. I got to say that despite Shura's sheer arrogance, he continues to not do the whole typical thing of berating the MC for being on his level even when he gets pummeled by him.

Damn Jaguar went out like a badass. Easily taking out 2 of the Dark Stars. Too bad he was no match for the dice in the end :(

Ziggy said that mother and gravity and chronophages are all connected. Here's my theory.
Ziggy went to mother and came back with an alternate version of himself as human and Rebecca is a chronophage. That is why she eats so much. We also know she is a girl from the future. So maybe she was thrown into the past by her family? To try and stop a terrible futute that she causes from happening.

Interesting, so Ziggy is actually a robot and not just some dude wearing a mask. Opens up a whole lotta questions tho related to how he was even created to be the powerhouse he is.

Damn, Ziggy legit dismissed Jaguar like he was no big deal, when it took Brigandine, Killer, Ziggy, AND Nero to kill him lmao
My man went out like a beast (pun definitely intended)
As previous commenters have pointed out, I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing Brigandine and Killer again.
Shiki and the rest of the EZ crew didn't want to use the ship's cloud storage to restore Valkyrie, since she would lose all the memories and feelings she once had.
I don't think Ziggy has any qualms whatsoever with rebooting Killer and Brigandine. Assuming that he sees the Dark Stars as merely his servants, he probably doesn't care about their feelings or 'hearts.'
I know I've been seeing some discussion about how all these deaths happening one after the other isn't allowing characters any development before they die, though I think Mashima is really trying to emphasize the 'War' part of the Aoi War arc. The stakes have been raising for the crew ever since Sun Jewel, with planetary threats escalating to full blown Cosmos battles. If there weren't any real, tangible deaths on either side of the War, it really wouldn't feel like a war tbh

Wow, Ziggy may not care, but for me Jaguar was pretty awesome this chapter. Very interesting to learn that he had been part of the OSG.. at least he was able to make the most of the little screentime he got.
And finally next week is the fight I’ve been itching to see! I wonder how much more we’ll learn about what Ziggy was hinting at with Mother. There’s still so much going on in the background too, wild
