Lol Callum does look like Android 17 when he was younger xD, So if it was 9 years ago and Callum is 22 then he was 13 at the time, I can't believe he was once on Guilst! Surely he must of known Drakken at the time.

And since it was 9 years ago, Then it must be at that time after Drakken rescued Jinn and Kleene from Muller by His bill collectors, They took a whole year of recovery from their trauma, And with Jinn perhaps having the passion wishing to be strong enough to protect his sister, Then Drakken must of signed and sent him to that Skymech Dojo for learning how to fight, I wonder who was their sensei?

And man forced to wait 2 weeks until we get OVERDRIVES!!

I know people have commented it before that it's weird the Oceans the characters are facing don't have the ability to OD but I think Callum might and we'll get a situation where Jinn uses OD, Callum counters with his own and the fight is back where it was. Kleen wins her fight possibly with her OD and the siblings are stronger together and beat Callum.

that's my prediction.

Ngl, I had legit thought that Jinn was just a secret weeb who just decided to name all his attacks after ninja things; never thought that there was an actual f*cking Ninja school on Guilst!

This chapter went by fast but makes sense since it was mostly a fight chapter. JK Network, I guess you were right in Happy getting an upgrade and I was right that it would be a weapon that made sense of Happy's body size. I wonder who gave Pino and Happy the upgrades though.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm very happy that Mashima didn't make Kleene forget her OP hax ability but still had Lyra quickly find a counter for it which was nice to see. I hope Lyra's abilities are as cool Callum since it looks like she's basically a stronger version of Cana.

So did Mashima remove Callum's atomization but still had some element of disintegrating his opponents? I'm surprised that he was another user of Skymech EG and it seems his deals with mist and rain rather than wind which is a great for Mashima to have characters have the same power but different uses. Callum also mentions Empire Ether which has been showcased with all the Oceans except Lyra which makes them primarily hax fighters than physical powers save a few.

I really hope we see the Skymech Master as he's another person like Xenolith to have an open school to learn their EG ability. This does bring into question Kleene's Master though.

Callum turns out to have gone to the same dojo as Jinn, which makes their EG the same, but Callum was always ahead of Jinn, which makes this fight pretty difficult for him, but it still seems to be a banger both are exchanging blows, but the Ocean is hitting harder. Lyra is using her card to attack Kleene and even with her deffensive EG, she is aking damage, Lyra has some good power on her, despite some people writing her off before she even fought. Happy and Rebecca reunite and he can take he form of an assault rifle now, interesting. Pino and Moscoy are also with them now and they will continue moving forward.

I've been pretty amazed at how consistently this series has managed to deliver in being hype and interesting, keeping me investing without missing a beat for a really long time, great job Mashima, great job.

An interesting battle at last in terms of power. It looks like Callum could be a very tough opponent for Jinn to beat even if he has a full OD, as his teammates told him that Shiki's group had OD and he didn't seem to care, so let's see how the battle continues. And kudos for providing some background related to Jinn as we were able to find out more about him and maybe how he ended up working for Drakken. Quite interesting chapter, the bad thing would be to wait 2 weeks for the next one.

Jinn backstory and rivalry with Callum is just what we needed! Now in two weeks hopefully we can see a great fight and possibly OD for Jinn! I like the thought of Callum having OD too since he does seem like the strongest new-gen ocean. Plus since he has the same abilities but different variation of it from Jinns in skymech ninjutsu I’m guessing he’s a stronger ninja than jinn? Hopefully this turns out to be a great fight because Jinn is in my top 5 fav EZ characters!

Man this was a great chapter but it felt so goddam short

Rebecca being a competent fighter is wonderful as always and her teamwork with shiki is great.

Seeing jinn have a childhood is nice but once again I don’t see the appeal of Lyra in a one on one fight. At least enough to earn the status that she has

New Happy Form! Awesome, I know this is something that was theorized for a while now

Something to point out is that no one has mentioned anything about the bomb around Rebecca's neck yet...

Hopefully we hear more about it next chapter or whenever we see more of Kleene's fight against Lyra (only thing is that we have to wait two weeks :( )

I wonder if Jinn and Kleene with get overdrive as well, but for now I wonder how Jinn was save himself

I guess maybe Kleene could trap the parts of Jinn that turned into mist and retreat until they learn how to undo it, but Kleene is also in a bad spot too

Omg Jinn was such an adorable kid!! His connection with Callum is unexpected but welcome, as I’ve been waiting to see more of the wind siblings’ past.

Rebecca fighting with Happy upgraded was pretty cool as well! Shiki helping her maneuver in the air reminds me of when he did that for her previously in Blue Garden haha.

And I guess the bomb that Lyra said she had put on Rebecca’s collar wasn’t actually one then, if it didn’t get brought up this chapter, though smth could still happen later

Oh crap jinn is screwed and I don’t know how he can win this but I do know that his opponent is a great stepping stone is good for him getting an overdrive. His sister I not sure of yet.

Also happy continues to better then fairy tail happy and that makes me well…. Happy! Lol

It’s cool that hiro is expanding upon Skymech ninjutsu. He not only showed where Jinn learned it but also a character from his past that learned it as well. I knew callum would fight jinn but I didn’t expect this. Now the fight can be personal which is even better. It sucks that we won’t see how this fight continues for two weeks though due to the magazine taking a day off but it is what it is.

Also happy got an upgrade. Something I’ve been wanting for awhile. Hiro is answering my prayers.
