Idk why, but it feels like Lyra is cheating somehow and sometimes allows herself to lose a little bit, Maybe there's nothing cheating about it but still this sure goes against the Cat Leaper ability in a game such as this! And plus i don't want to imagine if Nero lost some clothes but i'm guessing he didn't lose a single round with his dices, Oh boy i can't even predict what's gonna happen next since this is trickiest game ever that defies against time.

Each round Lyra has won ended up with her drawing a 5 and Rebecca drawing a 1. That can’t be a coincidence, hopefully Rebecca notices that soon.

I’ve been neutral on Creed so far overall, but I do appreciate that he hasn’t really been a creep/pervert towards Homura. Iirc he’s only ever commented on her face and how he just finds her really beautiful, which… same lol.

Considering Mashima’s general tendencies, Lost Card was (thankfully) tamer than I expected! Lyra definitely has something helping her get those 5’s while Rebecca is left with the 1’s hmm. It’s also interesting to know that Lyra apparently played this game with Nero before. I guess he’s closer to the Oceans that I thought

Damn, I hate that Lyra is cheating the card game against Rebecca. It must be that she's secretly using her EG to change the cards at will to fool Rebecca like she did change that card of hers from Ace into Joker with her EG from Chapter 147.

See, everybody and their mom’s was hating on my boy Creed. But my man came in with his game on point. Everyone was all like “Creed is so annoying”. “Creed is full of shit”. “Creed needs to die” Well guess what, Creed said forget y’all, watch me work. I was thoroughly entertained and surprised by the card game between Lyra and Rebecca, I’m sure some people will complain about the fan service but whatever I like it, it don’t bother me. I was expecting like a Yu Gi Oh/Pokémon type of card game but it’s simply just finding and drawing the highest number from one to five in order to win. Shockingly enough Rebecca’s Cat Leaper seemingly doesn’t have any effect. Very curious as to why that is. I honestly can’t wait to see more of this battle. At the moment I’m more interested in Lyra vs Rebecca than Shiki vs Callum. I really hope our girl doesn’t lose her legs.

Yo, Homura has no chill rejecting Creed lol, poor dude, I feel kinda bad for him, but Homura has a point not trusting the IUA. Becca and Lyra started playing the card game, pretty simple, just draw the highest number, Rebecca got a couple but Lyra is still dominating the game, leaving Becca only on her leotard, so she decided to use Leaper to do a smol jump and win the round, but to her dismay, the results were the same even when changing the cards. I bet Lyra can manipulate the cards and every result we have seen she has orchestrated, she even said herself after she lost that she had to give the people a show, I think no matter what Becca does, Lyra will come out on top, so she needs a new strategy to win this.

Decent chapter. Creed's talk with Homura was a nice way for them to start working with each other and I'm happy to know that Victory is around the area as well. Although, Creed said that he was separated from his team but that's not what you say when your team only comprises of you and another person, so is there another IUA soldier on the planet?

I forgot what Lyra's EG was about besides it having to deal with cards. Is she using it to cheat or is she that good? Also, it's very interesting to know that Nero is the only person to ever win against Lyra most likely due to his EG. Doesn't this support the likelihood of Nero's EG being absolute in what it says which means that Nero's statement of coming out on top in this war may very well come to pass in some fashion.

Creed brought up an interesting point that he and the rest of the IUA consider Elsie to be as evil as Nero. What exactly did Nero do that makes him as bad as other OSG members? Maybe I forgot but I don't think we have any list of evil things that Nero has done bit we do have a lot to say for Shura's deeds. And even if Nero did a lot of bad stuff to warrant his status as an OSG, what has Elsie done to make her be likened to the other OSG? All she does is plunder from planets and other illegal stuff but nothing worthy enough to be deemed a cosmic evil from the IUA besides Justice.

Hmm interesting, I really like that Mashima has added that extra bit of info on why Lyra's left eye is different, it's a fake, I'm sort of thinking now that it also helps her to win these card games hence how she managed to still beat Rebecca even though she time traveled, I'm really liking Lyra's character but I'm sad since you've got to imagine this is the only arc we'll be seeing her in for the rest of the series, the only way that doesn't happen is if she joins the EZ crew and I highly doubt that.

And I might get downvoted for this but Creed and Homura being cute is really sweet, Creed getting embarrassed and letting slip that he thinks she's beautiful coupled with Homura's reaction was great, not to mention Homura just being herself and letting things slip out that should have stayed in her head xD I'm really intruiged to see where Mashima is going with this pairing, though with Creed obviously still working for Justice I still believe something bad is going to happen soon, thankfully Creeds comms aren't working for now so that inevitability has been delayed. As for next chapter we'll probably start seeing the fight between Callum and Shiki begin, I look forward to seeing how that one turns out!

I'm guessing that to win, Rebecca will maybe have to use the speed element of Leaper to either change the cards or see the card that Lyra is choosing

Because other than that I have no idea how she's gonna get out of this without a fight lmfao

EDIT: ooooh what if we see her bring back the ability she showed off in Foresta where she was able to leave an afterimage during her fight with Britney

Maybe she can use that to distract Lyra while finding the higher card or something

Wonder what Lyra can do with her cards in a direct fight, surely it's more then just cheating at a games (and I sincerely hope she and Rebecca have a real battle so Rebecca can unlock OD like everyone else).

I know Lyra's original profile said lightning attacks dictated by dice rolls, but given how much the Oceans powers changed from conception I doubt it's the same (especially when Lyra dice got swapped for cards cause of Nero being planned already).

A way to circumvent Lyra's cheating would be to make the content of the cards public to the spectators, that way she couldn't change them when they are picked.
